Realize complete dustproof (prevent all dust from entering the internal structure) and 1m immersion proof (soak in 1 meter water depth for 30 minutes without water ingress), meeting the protection requirements of industrial field harsh environment.
Conventional models have no protection (plug/socket ports are exposed); special dust caps can be optionally equipped, and the protection grade can be upgraded to IP67 dustproof and waterproof after installation.
Technical Note: The IP67 protection of M9 connectors is not a permanent performance, and the locking nut must be fully tightened to compress the sealing ring to take effect; the special dust cap is a cost-effective protection accessory, which is recommended to be installed for the connectors in long-term unmated state on site.
