After wiring, test continuity and insulation with a multimeter: insulation resistance between cores, and between core and shell ≥100MΩ@500V DC, no short circuit between any cores.
Tighten the nut after mating, pull the cable lightly without falling off; shake the connector and the multimeter reading has no jump, indicating good contact and stable connection.
Technical Note: The insulation resistance test is the key to avoid short circuit fault in later use; the mechanical stability test can detect hidden dangers such as virtual welding and loose locking in time, which is suitable for rapid on-site quality inspection without professional equipment.
