Different manufacturers have differences in pin-hole spacing, shell size, locking thread and other key details. Direct cross-brand mating is mostly impossible; even if forced mating is successful, it will cause hidden dangers such as poor contact, unstable signal transmission and invalid IP protection performance.
Use male and female M9 connectors of the same brand for the same set of equipment to ensure perfect mating and reliable performance; if replacement is needed, provide the specification parameters of the original connector to the manufacturer for customizing a fully adapted model.
Technical Note: For bulk procurement and later maintenance replacement, it is recommended to fix the cooperation with a single M9 connector manufacturer and archive the product specification parameters to avoid compatibility problems caused by brand replacement; non-adapted forced mating will cause irreversible damage to the pin and socket ends of the connector.
