Drill a hole with diameter of 9.5~10mm on the panel, and remove burrs completely to avoid scratching the sealing ring and affecting waterproof performance.
Pass the socket through one side of the panel, and sleeve the silicone waterproof sealing ring to ensure the ring is closely attached to the panel surface.
Tighten the lock nut on the other side, compress the sealing ring by 1~1.5mm (core step) to achieve IP67 waterproof protection effect.
Confirm core position is correct after wiring, mate the connector and tighten the tail nut (protection grade is only valid in fully mated state).
Technical Note: The compression amount of the silicone sealing ring (1~1.5mm) is the key to ensure IP67 protection; over-compression will damage the ring, under-compression will cause water leakage, and the protection performance is only effective when the connector is fully mated and tightened.
